Apple Banana Oat Toddler Muffins

Yield: 10 muffins
These toddler-friendly muffins have no added sugar, are great for baby-led weaning and as a toddler snack, and are very easy to make!

Cook Time: 13 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients
 

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup oat flour*, (or 1 1/2 cup rolled oats if you are grinding them yourself)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place 10 non-stick muffin liners in a muffin tin and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mash the banana.
  • Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Scoop 1/4 cup batter into each muffin liner.
  • Bake in the oven for 13 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the middle of a muffin.

Notes

These would be great with blueberries added in!
Making Oat Flour: If you are making your own oat flour, pulse rolled oats in a blender until mostly ground. I prefer grinding my own oats versus store-bought oat flour.
If you are eating this as an adult snack, they are really good when they are served warm with melted butter and a hot cup of coffee or tea!
